The Transport Conference 2018 and the 7th International Scientific Conference

Conference Objectives

The 7th International Scientific Conference with a subtitle Through Efficient Transport to Sustainable Mobility is held at the occasion of the anniversary of 25 years Faculty of Transport Engineering. The conference follows the previous international scientific conference which took place on the University campus of the Transport Faculty of Engineering, University of Pardubice. A Part of the conference is joined with Transport Conference 2018 organized by the Czech Chamber of Chartered Engineers and Technicians in Construction.

The aim of the conference is to present and discuss the latest trends and scientific knowledge from the field of transport as well as their possible application in practice with regard to the principles of sustainable transport. The conference will focus on topics from the field of management, information and operational technology, infrastructure and electrical engineering, means of transport and transport reliability and safety. The conference is intended for professionals as well as academic public.

Exchange of opinions and knowledge between the most prominent international and domestic researchers, managers and experts in the field will contribute to finding and formulating new tasks in science and research of transport as well as education.

All accepted papers will be reviewed (except for papers sent to the History of Transport section) and proceedings of the reviewed conference papers will be sent to Clarivate Analytics for inclusion in the Web of Science database.
