Transport Economy and Transport Policy

Economy and Technology of Postal Service

This session is zero year of International Postal Conference (IPOC 2006) focused on problems of postal service sector.
Supposed topics of this session:

Transport Technology and Control

Interoperability in transport

Crises in Transport and Communications

Applied Informatics in Transport and Communications

Railway engineering

The session is focused on railway substructure and superstructure, railway bridges and tunnels, urban railway, equipment of railway tracks, administration and service of railway tracks. Contributions from the area of projection, construction and operation of the railway objects, contributions about using of new technologies, contributions about new scientific findings in the branch of railway engineering are welcomed. The importance will be aimed at reliability of railway buildings and constructions.

Roadway engineering

The session is focused on road constructions, road bed, road bridges and tunnels, equipment of roads, administration and service of road. Contributions from the area of projection, construction and operation of the road objects, contributions about using of new technologies, contributions about new scientific findings in the branch of road engineering are welcomed. The importance will be aimed at reliability of road constructions. )

Reliability, safety and diagnostics of transport means and structures

This session deals with reliability, life endurance, failures and diagnostics of railway and road vehicles, as well as load carrying capacity and safety of transport structures (bridges, railways, roads, tunnels), and reliability of electric and electronic equipment for vehicles and for transport ensuring. Papers are expected about the evaluation of reliability and the tools for its ensuring, including diagnostic systems or maintenance, about the methods for risk assessment and about the economic aspects of reliability and failures. Papers of theoretical character can be presented, as well as practical experience, results of measurement or of operation monitoring, and analysis of failures and accients.

Control Systems

(Electric, Electronic, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems) Elements and systems for power transmission. Control elements and systems. Application in mobile technique. Applications in modeling, simulation of systems, numerical methods and software tools in research and development of elements and systems.

Road Transport Vehicles

Design, testing and develop of road vehicles. New materials in vehikle design. Application of simulation in development and testing of vehicles. New trends in alternate powertrains. Alternate fuel for road vehicles. Hybrids powertrain. Recycling of materials for vehicles production. Transport safety in the design, testing and type approval context.

Railway Transport Vehicles

Design, testing and develop of rail vehicles. Materiále base for rail vehicles production. Duty and service of rail vehicles. Interaction in contakt wheel - rail, simulation calculations, experinets. Derailing safety of rail vehicles. Braking systems. Duty safety of rail vehicles.

Electrical Engineering in Transport and Communications

Education, Science and Research in Transport and Communications

The session is focused on new possibilities how to encourage scientists and experts, who deal with the problems of TRANSPORTATION in science and practice, to exchange ideas and examine the state-of-the-art, development and achievements as well as its impacts on the national and global economic and social processes. There should be discussed:
